I had such a good time making Rude Boy Bakery, that I decided to make another video. While shooting in The City featuring Sperry Top-Sider and Mr. Turk, I decided to also shoot some video of the entire experience.
You can see my full write-up of the shoot here, but enjoy the vlog below.

Whole Day, One Watch with Sperry Top-Sider
The wristwatch is the one item I never leave the house without. It's not just an accessory, but a functional item as well. When the new Sperry Top-Sider watch hit my door, I was amazed by the versatility and quality of the watch. The classic dial along with the brown nato-strap made it the perfect watch for a day on the town, but could easily be dressed up for an evening out.
To change up the single outfit shoot, I made the #timeforsperry watch the focal point around an entire's day trip. The difficult thing about a one day trip is that most people wear one outfit throughout the whole day to avoid having to pack additional clothes and having to change. But this causes you to either be uncomfortable and overdressed during the day or under-dressed for the night depending on the outfit you choose for the day. To remedy this, the following shoot will show how to transform a day outfit easily into a night outfit.
The day started out with bold summer shorts
and a comfortable top.
My outfits are always finished off with a
stop at the accessories department.
I had a difficult time trying to choose a night outfit,
but I knew I needed items I could easily pack and throw on.
Packed everything in mini luggage and I was off.
I walked by this floral truck below and
decided to blend in my camo-floral shorts. :)
Because it was a day-cation, there wasn't a hotel I could change at. Well, let's do dressing-room urban style:
open up some car doors and do some speed dressing.
The only thing I changed was buttoning up the chambray
and throwing on some dark denim. Kept everything
else including the watch, shoes, belt, and accessories.
To pull it all together,
I topped it with a heavy
dark blazer.
I cut the dark and heavy colors with
a colorful lapel pin and paisley pocket square.
The Sperry Top-Sider watch feels just at home
with shorts as it does under a blazer.
It's time for dinner.

Layering in Carmel
Was tired of the American Prep I'd been doing for Fall and Winter. I was out in the Monterey area for a drive event, so I needed to look the part. Paired a light weight military jacket with a vest. White henley and blue chinos broke up the neutral palette. Drive cap and high ankle boat shoes pulled everything together. Click on each photo for fashion credits.
