Florida Vacations with Tripping.com

Beach Must Haves with Tripping.com

city of gentlemen

Once Spring hits the first thing on my mind is that beach season has started.  Sandy toes, warm waters, and a cold beverage are some of the things I look forward to.  Like most of us, I usually have a routine and some must have items before venturing to the beach.

Most important is a big comfortable beach blanket.  Warm sand can feel great between the toes, but laying on it and getting it in other crevices can be uncomfortable.  Next is music whether it be with headphones or a portable speaker.  Not only can it be used for personal relaxation, but turn up the tunes and the party is at your beach site.  If you're not up for a party scene, then make sure to grab the picnic basket and that book that you've been slowly reading for the past month.  The beach is a great place to unwind to wine, food, and a good book.

Look to Tripping.com and their Florida vacation rentals page for inspiration on your next getaway.  Although I enjoy hotels, I prefer an entire rental to myself.  Something about staying in a rental makes it feel more like home rather than a short vacation that ends all too soon.  Maybe it's BBQing on the balcony, lounging on a soft sofa after a long beach day, or gathering the friends and family around the fireplace at the end of the night--a beautiful rental can't be beat.

Tailor 4 Less x Birchbox

I've had the pleasure to work with quite a few custom shirt companies but I can say without hesitation that Tailor 4 Less has to be one of the best.  From the fit to the numerous options of customization, their shirts are hard to beat.  I'm fortunate to have a great tailor that knows my measurements so inputting my measurements for the shirt was easy.  However if you don't know your sizing--find a competent tailor to take Tailor 4 Less' eight recommended measurements and within a week or so you'll find yourself wearing a bespoke shirt.

It was good timing that my buddies over at Birchbox sent this classic Nick Graham tie.  I wanted to do the shirt justice by highlighting it without overshadowing it.  By combining a shirt and tie with a double breasted blazer--the timeless look is maintained while the colored chinos modernizes the look and makes it more spring appropriate.

Let me know what you guys think and make sure to visit Tailor 4 Less and Birchbox.
